Merchill respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of everyone who uses our website.

1. Our Commitment

We only sell designs we create or have the right to use. If you believe a product or other content on merchill.com infringes your copyright, please tell us using the process below and we will respond promptly under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

2. How to File a Notice

Your written notice must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL of the material you believe infringes; (d) your name, address, telephone number and email; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

4. What Happens Next

We review complete notices within 5 business days and remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe, and we notify the person who provided it.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice including your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, phone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or the Northern District of Georgia if you are outside the U.S.).

6. Repeat Infringers

We will remove content and end relationships with anyone found to repeatedly infringe.

7. Misrepresentation

Under § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
